Miranda Kerr the model mom looks runway ready on an outing with her stylish little man Flynn

She marks her two-year-anniversary to husband Orlando Bloom this month.
But while the actor is away on business, Miranda Kerr has been hitting the town solo in an array of fashionable ensembles.
And today was no exception as the 29-year-old Victoria's Secret model stepped out in New York City holding hands with their adorable baby boy, Flynn.

The Australian beauty draped her slender frame in an elegant red-orange day dress nipped at the waist and with a flirty thigh-high slit.
She paired the sleeveless V-neck frock with blue floral heels, leaning down for little Flynn's hand as he teetered along in matching blue and red.

 

The model completed her outfit with a pair of thin-framed sunglasses. And although her hair was tied back into a no-fuss bun and she appeared to wear little more than a lash of lipstick, she looked polished and put together.
Eighteen-month-old Flynn looked happy to be out and about with his mom, smiling and clutching her hand with his tiny fingers.

The tot wore a baseball cap, a blue and red striped shirt and nautical-inspired shorts dotted with blue anchors to match his sneakers.
Flynn was holding My Quiet Book in his other hand before his mum swept him up - a fabric activity book that helps children to learn shapes, tell time, and teaches other skills like buttoning, buckling and zipping.
Their outing came after Miranda turned heads in a snakeskin top and denim capris last night, while Bloom stepped out in London.

His model wife looked like she had just stepped off the catwalk as she left the Maialino Restaurant, in New York - casual and chic.
She accessorised the ensemble exquisitely, carrying a burgundy Louis Vuitton SC Sofia Coppola Satchel, and wearing a pair of strappy sandals.
She completed the outfit by wearing her brunette locks down and only sported a basic palette of make-up on her face.

The mother-of-one had undoubtedly worked up an appetite by working on a photo shoot for Victoria's Secret earlier in the day.
However, instead of the lingerie that her fans are used to seeing in, Kerr was modelling some less revealing clothing.
The beauty donned a series of stylish ensembles which largely consisted of knitwear, boots and skinny jeans.

She was joined on the shoot by a furry friend in the form of her pet pooch Frankie.
The terrier got to pose with his superstar owner in some of the shots, and she alternated between holding him on a leash and scooping him into her arms.
Miranda has unsurprisingly snapped back into model shape since giving birth to the baby boy in January, 2011 - six months after the model confirmed she and Bloom had wed in an 'intimate ceremony'.

Miranda may well be joining her husband in England soon, while she has admittedly been loving her time in the Big Apple - posting photos and messages on her Twitter affirming her love for New York City.

Victoria's Secret is opening their first UK store in the Westfield Stratford shopping center on July 24 as well as a flagship store New Bond Street.
Miranda hasn't yet confirmed if she will cut the ribbons at either opening.

Being a professional clotheshorse, it's likely Miranda Kerr knew exactly how she would be toying with onlookers - despite covering up in this elegant floaty floral dress.
The Australian model opted for a quaint girl-next-door look while running errands in Manhattan.
However, the frock she picked didn't exactly leave create a demure exterior and instead showed off her runway legs beneath the sheer fabric and a plunging neckline.

The canary yellow creation was also slashed daringly low, with the V-neck cut to below her cleavage.
Miranda polished off the look with a pair of nude peep toe heels, a leather handbag which added a touch of office chic, and a quirky pair of large shades.

 

Later she changed in a more comfortable pair of sandals as she took her son Flynn out shopping at Baby Gap.
It's no wonder the mother-of-one successfully maintains such a svelte frame for her career, considering she prefers to devour only 'raw, clean and organic' food.

The Victoria's Secret Angel said: 'I find the most satisfying food is food that's full of life, so it's raw and clean and organic. We have a vegetable patch in LA... when I eat them from there I love that.'
During the interview with Women's Fitness, she added: 'My grandfather had a vegetable patch when I was growing up and my grandma would just chop the vegetables up and give them to us, so I learned from that. I find that really satisfying, the raw enzymes. I also love kale, spinach, fennel, avocado... '
However, the 29-year-old, who is a Buddhist, has come under fire for an insensitive quip to Harper’s Bazaar UK about why she chose not to have an epidural for her son's birth, as she didn't want Flynn to be 'drugged'.
On parenting blog The Stir by CaféMom, one mother wrote: 'Being a supermodel doesn’t make you an expert', adding, '(Miranda should) choose her words more wisely'.
