Victoria Pendleton won't be happy! Brendan Cole is prepared to miss Strictly final if his wife goes into labour

Victoria Pendleton's Strictly Come Dancing partner Brendan Cole has hinted of a potential obstacle if the Olympic cyclist manages to dance her way into the final.
The professional dancer is expecting his first child with Zoe Hobbs - with the due date just two weeks after the BBC show's final.
And Cole has insisted he will have no problem leaving the 32-year-old double gold winning Olympic star without a partner at the final if his wife is rushed into labour.

He told Bang Showbiz: 'There would be no way I would miss the birth. Zoe and the baby are my priority.
'If me and Victoria get through to the final and Zoe goes into labour, I would rush right away to be with her.'
He continued: 'I wouldn't care about missing the final. Victoria would cope and they'd be able to find her a replacement.'

However, Brendan admitted that he loves working Victoria, and has dismissed suggestions that she is emotional.
Victoria has been seen in tears on the show, but Cole added: 'Working with Victoria is great.
'She's really passionate, like me, which I love because she's putting loads of work in to be good. She's always laughing and I've hardly seen her cry.'

She might be crying on Saturday from shock.
This week has a Fright Night theme to celebrate Halloween.
Victoria Pendleton is shown on the promo for this week's episode dressed as a Corpse Bride.
The stars will take to the stage and perform some spooky routines.
Judges on the show claim Victoria is improving every week - despite getting caught up in her dress during the last episode's dance.

The Honda car just for women, complete with windscreen that helps prevent wrinkles (and it comes in pink, of course)

Japanese motor giant Honda has designed the first car to be marketed exclusively to women.
The Honda Fit She's comes in colours inspired by popular eyeshadow shades (yes, that includes pink), and has a windscreen that 'helps prevent wrinkles'.
The $17,500 vehicle also has an air-conditioning system that apparently improves the driver's skin quality.

Thinking pink: The new Honda Fit She's, designed just for women, comes in colours inspired by popular eyeshadow shades and has a windscreen that 'helps prevent wrinkles'
The design, which features pink bezels on the dashboard and hot pink stitching on the steering wheel and seats, has been called 'adult cute' by the manufacturer.
Already the description has been the subject of hilarious ridicule on news sites and blogs.

A commenter on the Today.com article wrote: 'Am I a woman? Oh, yes, because I have a big pink car that reminds me that I am!'
Another wrote: 'I'm assuming it only comes with an automatic transmission, lipstick instead of a cigarette lighter, an illuminated vanity mirror in each visor... and the two remaining pedals (accelerator and brake) have been replaced with a tub to soak their feet.'

Thankfully Honda appears to realise that the concept would not go down well in the U.S. For now, sales of its ladies'-only model are limited to Japan.
Indeed, as Today.com explains: 'As much as half of all Japanese women stay out of the workforce and still more tend to shift to homemakers after getting married. But even for those women who do join the workforce, there is more of a divide in tastes than one might find in Western countries.'

That hasn't stopped other automakers from attempting to launch similar ladies' only models in the U.S.
The launch brings to mind Chrysler's pink-and-white Dodge LaFemme, unveiled in 1955, came with a designated spot to store a matching handbag and rain hat.
And as recently as 2000, Ford built a prototype Windstar minivan that had its own washer/dryer, microwave and vacuum cleaner for domestic goddesses on-the-g

A+ for enthusiasm! Model student Suri Cruise runs to class after being dropped off at school by mother Katie Holmes

It appears Suri Cruise is developing a certain zest for education.
The six-year-old looked enthusiastic on Thursday morning as she headed to school - apparently excited about getting to class at the elite $39,750-per-year Avenues school in New York.
Suri was raring to go, and was seen darting off from her mother Katie Holmes with her bright pink rucksack on her back.

A casual-looking Katie also appeared on good form as she dropped off her daughter at the Manhattan-based school, located in Chelsea neighbourhood.
Holmes, 33, wore jeans, a black top and check jacket, teamed with shades having apparently opted to go make-up free.
Suri recently started at the Avenues school as one of the first intake of 700 pupils.

Aimed at the children of the jet-setting elite 'The World School' enables pupils to follow their parents around the globe without being tied to school vacation schedules.
It was initially reported that other parents were concerned Suri's presence could be disruptive, but it appears the youngster has settled in well.
Katie has been taking her daughter to school almost every day.

Meanwhile her ex-husband and Suri's father Tom Cruise hasn't seen his daughter in nearly 10 weeks.
The actor's long-term lawyer and close friend Bert Fields told MailOnline this week that Cruise was very much 'missing' his little girl - and planned to see her as soon as possible.
He stressed: 'Tom is a loving, caring father. Suri is a vital part of his life and always will be.'
Mr Fields added: 'Of course he’ll be seeing her soon.  He’s in England finishing one picture and preparing another.'
He said the star was 'absolutely' looking forward to being reunited with his daughter, insisting: 'He misses her.'

The Prime Minister is Pontius Pilate, he's washed his hands of Scotland': Scots Tories attack Cameron's referendum cave-in

David Cameron will go to Edinburgh today to start the countdown to a referendum on Scottish independence.
But he faces criticism back in London that he has given too much ground to the Nationalists by agreeing to most of their demands on how the historic vote should be handled.
Lord Forsyth, a former Scottish Secretary, compared Mr Cameron to Pontius Pilate for handing over key decisions on the ballot to SNP first minister Alex Salmond, rather like the Biblical story of the Roman prefect of Judea acceding to the wish of Jewish leaders that Jesus should be put to death.

Comparion: Lord Forsyth, a former Scottish Secretary, compared David Cameron (left) to Pontius Pilate (right, with Jesus Christ) for handing over key decisions on the ballot to Alex Salmond, rather like the Biblical story
Although the Prime Minister has forced Mr Salmond to drop a second question on increased devolution short of independence, he has agreed to let Mr Salmond suggest the wording of the question, to delay the vote until 2014 and to enable 16 and 17-year-olds to vote.
The pair will meet today to sign an agreement on the holding of a referendum. The deal, reached following months of negotiations about the ballot, will grant the Scottish Parliament the power to stage the historic vote.

The Prime Minister will say: 'Scotland's two governments have come together to deliver a referendum which will be legal, fair and decisive. This marks the beginning of an important chapter in Scotland's story and allows the real debate to begin.
'It paves the way so that the biggest question of all can be settled: a separate Scotland or a United Kingdom? I will be making a very positive argument for our United Kingdom.
'It is now up to the people of Scotland to make that historic decision. The very future of Scotland depends on their verdict. It is that important. This agreement delivers the people's referendum.'

But Lord Forsyth said Mr Cameron had given too much away as a result of appalling negotiating skills.
He told the Sunday Times: 'Salmond has been able to get what he wants. If that's called a negotiation, that's stretching the language. It sounds like a walkover to me.'
'What is going on here is the prime minister is Pontius Pilate. He is just saying, over to you, Alex. Once that order is passed it's a matter for Alex Salmond so he is going to dictate the terms'
Lord Forsyth, former Scottish Secretary
Lord Forsyth said the expected wording of the question - Do you agree that Scotland should be an independent country? - was loaded and could swing the vote towards the SNP.
'What is going on here is the prime minister is Pontius Pilate. He is just saying, over to you, Alex. Once that order is passed it's a matter for Alex Salmond so he is going to dictate the terms.'
Former chancellor Alistair Darling, who is leading the cross-party Better Together campaign, also criticised aspects of the deal.
'I would have preferred to have had this referendum in the autumn of 2013 because frankly a two-year election campaign is going to try the patience of the public, never mind the politicians and those who write about it,' he said.

'In relation to 16 and 17-year-olds I personally don't think you should change the franchise for one particular referendum or election.'
'I would have preferred to have had this referendum in the autumn of 2013 because frankly a two-year election campaign is going to try the patience of the public, never mind the politicians and those who write about it'
Alistair Darling, former chancellor
Mr Salmond's deputy Nicola Sturgeon claimed victory, saying: 'If you consider issues over the timing, the question, the franchise, all issues which at the start of the year David Cameron was making noises about; all of these things will now be determined by the Scottish Parliament. I think that is a very good outcome.'
Scottish Secretary Michael Moore said: 'I think it's a good agreement. I believe it will now allow us to put up in lights the big issues about the big debate on what is best for Scotland.
'I believe that when we look at the economy, at defence, at our place in the world, on all these big issues people across Scotland will continue to support Scotland being in the United Kingdom.'
The most recent poll on independence suggests support for leaving the UK has dropped. A survey of 995 adults, published last week, showed support for the Union at 53 per cent compared with support for independence at 28 per cent.

How Klass-ic! Myleene steals the show at the Classical Brit Awards in stunning black and silver floorlength gown

It was always bound to be a classy night thanks to the calibre of stars on the guest list.
But one person in particular stole the show as they entered the 2012 Classical Brit Awards on Tuesday night.
And that person was, of course, Myleene Klass, who has previously ensured she's been the belle of the ball at the annual glitzy bash.
That's certainly an entrance! Myleene Klass shows off her glamorous style as she shows the rest of the stars up at the Classical Brit Awards on Tuesday night

This year she opted for a flowing floorlength Rafael Lopez gown in silver and black with a strapless sweetheart neckline.
And she was clearly ecstatic with her look as she lifted the train off the floor and posed for the cameras with the material extended.
Although it could have been that she just wanted the snappers to notice her stand-out quirky shoes.

Myleene completed her dainty look with some high heels with spiky detailing on the front to give it a more jagged edge.
But nevertheless she still looked demure and glamorous in the outstanding ensemble.
It was only the day before on Monday that she was spotted wearing a smart red and black ensemble to a divorce meeting in London.

They have already taken the pop world by storm.
But it was another positive evening for the Military Wives Choir as the singers proved they can also triumph in the world of classical music.
The 800-member female group - led by Gareth Malone, 37 – scooped Single Of The Year for hit song Wherever You Are at the Classical Brit Awards.

After accepting their award from Olympic cycling gold-medallist Victoria Pendleton, 60 members of the choir performed Gary Barlow’s Diamond Jubilee composition Sing alongside the 41-year-old Take That star and composer Lord Lloyd-Webber.
Other surprise winners on the night included Oscar-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins, who arrived with his much younger wife Stella Arroyave, 55.
Although the 74-year-old Silence Of The Lambs star was not given a prize directly, a waltz he composed for his friend André Rieu – a Dutch violinist and composer - was included on the musician’ album And The Waltz Goes On, named Album of the Year.

The Military Wives are the first group ever to be nominated in both the Brit Awards and the Classical Brit Awards.
Yesterday was also the first time a Classical Brit prize has been awarded for Single Of The Year.
Wherever You Are was nominated for best single at the pop awards in February, but lost to One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful.
The track reached number one in the Christmas charts and sales have raised more than £500,000 for charity.

Speaking before the awards yesterday, Mr Malone said it was ‘particularly gratifying’ to be recognised at a classical music ceremony as well as in pop circles.
He said: ‘I’ve never been particularly into genres. I like good music. All the musicians I work with have an appreciation of a huge range of music.
‘The secret to the choir’s success is the women. They have incredible lives and incredible stoicism.’
