Fiercely American: Vanessa Hudgens paints her acrylic talons red, white and blue

Vanessa Hudgens can usually be counted on to post pictures of her creative nail art.
Today she let fans see her independence Day creation: a set of red, white and blue nails the Disney star wore for a July 4th party with friends.
The 23-year-old went even further to celebrate America's birthday - she wore a T-shirt with an American flag!

She posted the patriotic photos on her blog today and wrote, 'such a fun 4th!!!'
The High School Musical cutie also let fans know she watched the fireworks in Malibu with boyfriend Austin Butler and other chums, including actresses Kim Hidalgo and Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson.
In May, she told her followers she went back to wearing fake nails.
'I just couldn't stay away from the acrylics lol,' she wrote. 
Vanessa debuted the nails two days earlier when she arrived to fellow Disney actress Ashley's Tisdale's 27th birthday party in Malibu.
